I’m a senior Kinesiology Pre-Physical Therapy student with an Honors minor, and I’m this year’s President for KORE! I’m originally from Orange County, CA. Outside of KORE, I have been involved in AS and am currently working on getting my Personal Training certification. In my free time, I enjoy working out, reading, and cooking. I also love hiking, swimming, trying new coffee spots, or just spending any time outdoors. Currently, I am working as a PT Aide at Select Physical Therapy in Pacific Beach. I am also in the process of applying to DPT programs and hope to jump straight into it as soon as I graduate from San Diego State.  I’m excited for a great semester and can’t wait to get started. As President, my goal is to support our members and my team to plan educational/fun events. Email: rfournier1823@sdsu.edu

I am originally from the Philippines but have moved to Hawaii, Bay Area, and Sacramento since then. Outside of Kore, I have been a part of Dance Marathon, Younglife, and  the Co-founder of the SDSU Hiking Club. I love going to the gym, swimming, surfing, basketball, pickleball, running, rock climbing, pretty much any kind of activity! I plan on becoming a Physical therapist or an athletic trainer in the future and hopefully having a business on the side where I will run my own gym someday. My  goal for this club is to spread the joy of what this major is capable of and to further grow the knowledge and help my fellow classmates along their journey :) Email: aworsham2587@sdsu.edu

Hi everyone!! I am currently a third year student here at SDSU majoring in Kinesiology with a Pre-Physical Therapy emphasis. I plan to continue on a biomechanics route, specifically in sports! I am from El Centro, California, which is a little desert town east of San Diego. In my freetime, I love to workout in any way (yoga, weight training), watch lots of sports, hangout with friends, and try exploring different places/things to do here in San Diego. Elise Nielson

Chief Event Coordinator

Hi! I’m Elise and I am the chief event coordinator for KORE this year! I’m a third-year Kinesiology Pre-PT major and I’m from Salt Lake City, Utah. My goal is to work at a physical therapy clinic that focuses on sports injury rehabilitation. I grew up dancing and playing soccer and continued to dance until college, so I’ve had my fair share of injuries which have led me to become fascinated with sport rehabilitation. Some things I love to do are going to concerts, thrifting, hiking, and hanging out with my puppy! My goal this year for KORE is make useful connections in the kinesiology field and make meaningful connections with our members.

Jenna Weisman

Event Coordinator

Hi my name is Jenna Weisman, I am a 4th year Kinesiology Pre-PT major from Danville, CA but I like to call Long Beach my home too because my family is there so often. At SDSU, I am volunteering as an Athletic Training Student, and this semester I am starting research in a Biomechanics Lab. In my freetime, I love going to sporting events, especially SD Wave and Padres games. I also love following college football, so I will be going to as many games as I can this season. I grew up in a Disney family, so I love anything Disney. After graduating, I hope to go straight into graduate school in either AT or PT. As an officer, I hope to encourage everyone to look at all fields of healthcare and maybe spark some interest in a career you never thought of!
