Membership Information

Requirements for Active Membership

• 6 points per semester, is required to maintain an active membership.

• Benefits: Certificate of Recognition (resume builder), Improved Professional Network & Professionalism and Knowledge of Exercise Science, Free KORE graduation cord (if two consecutive active semesters are achieved, one of which occurring in your senior year.)

Point System

• ½ Point will be earned for successfully referring a friend, for social media posts containing KORE apparel, or for sharing our posts to your Instagram story to promote our club. To earn credit you must post a photo or video on your Facebook or Instagram account, while tagging us with @kore.sdsu. If we happen to miss your post the first time around, please inform a KORE officer and show them your post to receive credit (1 point max).

• 1 Point will be earned for attending the Introductory Meeting, Fundraisers, Hikes, Social Events and for every 2 hours of approved on/off campus volunteering (2 points max).

• 2 Points will be earned for attending Workshops, Guest Speaker events, study sessions and/or Professional Networking events.

Criteria for inactive membership:
- Membership fee is not paid
​- Did not achieve point minimum for two consecutive semesters

REFUND POLICY: Membership fees are non-refundable. Unwashed T-shirts and other merchandise will be fully refunded (must contain tag).
